上田 普 Hiroshi Ueta

1974年淡路島生。四国大学書道コース卒。中国、カナダに渡り、2002年拠点を京都に移す。
NMB48、男前豆腐店、柊家旅館、AMAN京都、祇園祭鷹山等のデザインワークの他、東京アートフェア、ニュイ・ブランシュ、デザインウィークパリなど国内外のアートイベントの参加。ヒルトン京都、JWマリオットホテル内のアートワーク製作、ファッション、音楽、映像などのコラボレーションも行う。四国大学書道文化学科特認教授。
Calligraphy
Born in Awaji Island in 1974. He started studying Shodo(calligraphy) in childhood, learn from his mother, In 1998 he went to China in order to pursue the roots of Shodo , moved to Kyoto in 2002. Influenced by the living roots of calligraphy and culture he encountered in Kyoto, he has collaborated with many artisans and traditional culture such as the Hiiragiya Ryokan and the Gion Festival. The Kyoto City Society for Fine Arts designated him as an up-and-coming arts novelist In 2005. Specially appointed professor at Shikoku University.
