塙 冨士雄 Fujio Hanawa

1950年静岡県に生まれる。
1980年コーセー化粧品に於いてコスメデコルテ化粧品のパッケージデザインが通商産業大臣賞を受賞。以来ジルスチュアート等、数多くのデザイン賞を受賞している。現在、海外の化粧品をデザインする株式会社ICPを経営する。傍ら世界遺産である石州和紙を表現した石州和紙デザインコンペの審査委員長を歴任。日本に古くから伝わる和紙の原料である楮、三椏や、柿渋の素材質感を自らの干支の虎をテーマにした作品を製作発表している。
Design
Born in Shizuoka Prefecture in 1950.
In 1980, he won the Minister of Industry Award for the packaging design of COSME DECORTE Cosmetics for KOSE Co., Ltd., and has since won numerous design awards, including the Jill Stuart Award. He currently runs ICP Co., Ltd., which designs cosmetics for overseas markets. He has also served as chairman of the judging committee for the SEKISHU Washi Design Competition, which expresses SEKISHU Washi paper, a World Heritage Site. He creates and presents works based on the material textures of paper mulberry, mitsumata wood, and persimmon tannin, which are the raw materials for washi paper that have been passed down in Japan since ancient times, and on the theme of his own zodiac sign, the tiger.
