森野泰明 Taimei Morino

陶芸家

1934 年京都に生れる。京都市立美術大学卒業、専攻科修了。
1964 年現代国際陶芸展(京都国立近代美術館)以来、国内外の数多くの展覧会に招待出品。日本陶磁名品展（1976、ロデスデン美術館 / 東ドイツ）前衛芸術の日本・1910-1970（1986、ポンピドウセンター / フランス)、現代日本工芸展(1995、ヴィクトリア&アルバート博物館 / イギリス）現代陶芸・新世紀の日本陶芸展（2005 / ボストン美術館）日本近現代工芸の精華（2010、フローレンス / イタリア）、革新の工芸・伝統と前衛そして現代（2016 / 東京国立近代美術館）、日本の陶芸「JAPAN NOW」（2018、ガーデナー美術館 / カナダ）、明治の工芸 / 平成の工芸（2019、近代ギリシャ文化博物館 / ギリシャ）、工芸 2020・自然の美のかたち（2020 / 東京国立博物館）。
2007年日本芸術院賞。2015年京都府文化賞・特別功労賞。2019年旭日中綬章。現在、日本芸術院会員、国際陶芸アカデミー会員、日展顧問。作品は東京、京都国立近代美術館、メトロポリタン美術館、ボストン美術館等、国内外の 50以上の美術館に収蔵されている。
